Hey,

I'm Troy.

Owner & Creative Director of Driven Exposure Media

My story with Driven Exposure Media doesn't really start when I formed the company. It starts more than a decade earlier.

I entered the automotive industry in 2013 detailing cars at a dealership in Upstate New York. At the time, I certainly wasn't thinking about owning a media company. I just knew I loved cars, appreciated the details, and wanted to keep moving forward.

Over the years, detailing turned into sales. Sales turned into management. Along the way, I worked in real estate, automotive finance, inventory management, dealership operations, and eventually media and marketing.

Each role taught me something different—but they all had one thing in common:

How something is presented matters.

Where Media & Marketing Entered the Picture

Long before Driven Exposure Media offered marketing services, I was already working behind the scenes on the digital side of businesses.

While working in automotive sales and management, I also became responsible for dealership photography, social media, digital advertising, website maintenance, Google Analytics, SEO, and online inventory.

It gave me the opportunity to see marketing from both sides.

I wasn't creating content just because something needed to be posted. I was also on the sales floor talking to the customers that content was supposed to reach.

That experience changed the way I look at marketing.

A great photo should have a purpose. A social media post should have a reason for being there. A website should guide someone toward taking action. And good marketing should ultimately support the goals of the business behind it.

That philosophy still shapes everything I do today.

From a Camera to Driven Exposure Media

Photography had always been something I enjoyed, but eventually it became more than that.

I began taking the skills I'd developed through automotive, real estate, sales, and marketing and applying them behind the camera. I became increasingly focused on creating imagery that didn't just look good, but accurately represented what I was photographing and why it mattered.

In 2025, that became Driven Exposure Media.

Initially, the focus was professional photography—particularly automotive, real estate, and portraits.

But as DEM grew, so did the work.

Photography led to video. Content creation led to social media management. Social media conversations became broader marketing conversations. Clients began needing help with websites, campaigns, analytics, events, branding, and figuring out how all of those pieces should work together.

Driven Exposure Media naturally evolved with those needs.

Today, DEM combines professional photography, content creation, media, and marketing strategy to help clients tell their stories and strengthen the way they're seen.

Automotive

I've spent more than a decade in the automotive industry, from detailing and sales to finance, management, inventory acquisition, dealership marketing, and specialty and collector vehicles.

That experience means I understand vehicles from more than a photographer's perspective. I understand how they're presented, marketed, sold, and ultimately viewed by the customer or enthusiast on the other side of the screen.

Real Estate

Before photographing properties professionally, I worked in South Florida real estate.

That experience taught me to look at a property not simply as a room or building to photograph, but as something being presented to a potential buyer.

Media & Marketing

My background in marketing began years before DEM and has included social media management, photography, digital advertising, SEO, website management, Google Analytics, content creation, and brand positioning.

Today, that experience allows me to look beyond an individual post, photo, or video and consider how each piece contributes to the bigger picture.

Experience Behind the Work

One of the things that makes my approach different is that I haven't only photographed the industries I work with, I've worked inside them.

A Moment That Changed My Perspective

During my time with Kia, I began using social media differently than many traditional automotive salespeople were at the time.

Instead of simply posting inventory, I used it to educate customers, answer questions, showcase vehicles, and build relationships.

That work caught the attention of Kia Motors America, which featured my approach as an example of how social media could be used within automotive retail.

For me, the recognition meant more than being featured.

It reinforced something I had already started to see firsthand:

Good content creates opportunities when there's a strategy behind it.

That lesson ultimately became part of the foundation for Driven Exposure Media.

More Than Great Content

Today, Driven Exposure Media works with businesses, organizations, nonprofits, automotive clients, real estate professionals, brands, and individuals throughout South Florida.

Some clients need a single photography session.

Others need someone to manage their social media, create ongoing content, photograph their events, improve their website, develop campaigns, or help make sense of their overall marketing presence.

The scope may change, but my approach doesn't.

Understand the goal first. Then create with purpose.

I don't want to create something simply because it looks good.

I want to understand why we're creating it, who needs to see it, and what we want them to do next.

Driven by Detail. Powered by Vision.

That tagline isn't just something that sounded good underneath a logo.

Driven by Detail represents the way I work.

Whether I'm adjusting the angle of a vehicle, making sure a property is represented accurately, reviewing the wording of a caption, or catching a small inconsistency on a website, the details matter.

Powered by Vision represents the bigger picture.

It's understanding how the individual pieces come together and finding the best way to communicate the story behind a business, organization, property, vehicle, or person.

That's what I want Driven Exposure Media to bring to every project.

Built in South Florida. Invested in the Community.

South Florida isn't simply where Driven Exposure Media does business. It's the community the company has grown alongside.

DEM works with clients throughout the region—from businesses and automotive enthusiasts to nonprofits, community organizations, and local initiatives.

As an Investor with the Greater Pompano Beach Chamber of Commerce and through my work with organizations throughout South Florida, I've had the opportunity to build relationships with people doing incredible things in their own industries and communities.

Those relationships have become one of my favorite parts of building Driven Exposure Media.
